It’s pumpkin season! Which means it is time for Fall sweaters, pumpkin patches, and pumpkin spice lattes!
After trying the Starbucks Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew – I actually prefer it over the original Pumpkin Spice Latte. This Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew recipe is super easy to make and you can use any cold brew or iced coffee! For iced coffee lovers like myself, a pumpkin foam cold brew will give you all the savory feelings of Fall in an iced drink!
I’ve seen the pumpkin cream cold brew all over TikTok and Instagram lately. If you don’t feel like making this easy recipe, definitely order these fall Pumpkin drinks! The latest IT drink seems to be the iced chai latte with pumpkin cold foam.
Pumpkin Spice
If you don’t have pumpkin spice at home but have a drawer full of random spices, you may be able to make your own at home!
Pumpkin spice contains a blend of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves, and/or allspice. There are quite a few recipes out there, but I tried this pumpkin spice blend.
PUMPKIN SPICE BLEND RECIPE
Starbucks Pumpkin Cream Cold Foam
Based on the Starbucks website, the Pumpkin Cream Cold Foam contains cream, milk, pumpkin puree, condensed skim milk, sugar, vanilla syrup and, pumpkin spice topping.
Coffee
For this pumpkin cream cold brew recipe, you can make your own cold brew. Other options you can try are using a pre-made cold brew, brew your own coffee, or use any instant coffee. For pre-made cold brews, I really like SToK Cold Brew and Chameleon Cold-Brew. For instant coffee, you can try Nescafe Instant Coffee.
Sugar
For this recipe, adjust the sugar sweetness to your preference. The condensed milk will give the cream a good amount of sweetness by itself. If you prefer less sweet, you can omit the sugar or increase the sugar if you have a sweeter preference.
You can also create a simple syrup to add to your iced coffee by doing equal parts of water and sugar. Combine sugar and water in a saucepan. Boil until sugar dissolves and allow the syrup to cool.
If you add a simple syrup to your coffee, you may want to decrease the sugar in the cream.
Heavy Cream
The heavy cream will give you a thicker texture to the pumpkin foam. However, you can also add milk for a lighter texture – use 1/2 heavy cream and 1/2 milk of your choice.
When whisking the heavy cream, you want to whip it to a fluffy texture.
