A lot of people have asked me how I lost weight after my second baby. Mainly, I try to work out as much as I can and also try to say no to that extra piece of cake (keyword – TRY!). It is definitely difficult finding the time with two kids, work, and so many other things going on in life, but I try to squeeze in a workout whenever I have a free moment. Right now, I’m doing a program through the Ladder, which is a personal training app that is perfect for my busy mom lifestyle!
What is the Ladder Fitness App?
Ladder is a personal training app that sets you up with a real personal trainer to help achieve your fitness goals.
- It’s affordable! For unlimited training at as low as $16 a month – that’s a steal compared to what they are charging at the gym. A monthly subscription starts at $49.99, a 3-month subscription is $89.97, and a 12 month pre-paid subscription is $191.88
- You receive a personalized fitness program with a certified personal trainer.
- No gym membership needed! Workouts can be done at home or outdoors with or without any equipment.
- Your coach is available at any time and easy to contact through the app.
Ladder Fitness App Review
What I love about Ladder is the personal service you get from your certified personal trainer. They can tailor your workouts to your needs and give you tips and motivation to work out. The workouts are flexible in terms of being able to do it at home, outdoors, or even at a gym if you are a member of one. You can choose how many days you want to work out and adjust if needed.
I’m not a member of a gym currently because I couldn’t keep up with going regularly so being able to use Ladder to get in my workouts at home has been so convenient and easy. I’ve been sneaking in workouts after the kids go to bed!
I’m enjoying all the workouts that my coach, Kerri, has created for me. She tailored a workout plan to help me achieve my personal fitness goals and that would accommodate my busy lifestyle as a mom of two. The fitness plan consists of stretches, circuit training, and core. Kerri checked up on me after I started the workout. I really loved how responsive she was and helpful in answering any questions that I had.
The Ladder fitness app helps keep me motivated as it tracks your workout completions, your steps for the day, and any promises you made to improve your health. I never kept track of my steps previously so it has really helped keep me focused on walking more throughout the day, especially when I’m at work.
I would definitely recommend trying Ladder if you are looking for motivation to work out and to keep yourself accountable with a personalized workout program.
