The best part of vacation is eating! If you have good food, then it’s a good vacation! Montreal has a bunch of great brunch places and you definitely need to eat poutine while there, that’s a MUST!
Here’s my list of places to try!

- Small, crowded, usually a line to get in, cash only
- 1348 Beaubien Est (Little Italy/Rosemont- La Petite-Patrie)
- Open 24 hour
- Poutine is a MUST in Montreal, so delicious! I prefer the classic, but you can add additional toppings to it as well

August 1, 2016 at 1:27 PMSo much great food in one city – looks like a foodie Mecca!
August 1, 2016 at 3:11 PMI think I am still hungry because the poutine is calling me. I was in the Bay Area over New Years with my Son and his partner who are both gluten free and vegan. The searched on-line for vegan shops and came across a poutine shop in a mall just outside of Stanford / Palo Alto. We went to the mall for their last meal before surgery and the shop was permanently closed. I am still missing my poutine fix for the year.
April 8, 2017 at 12:51 AMThese restaurants all look so good! The food at Regine Cafe looks so fresh and I love the presentation too. Would also love to check out the Chinatown dumplings spots, and the poutine suggestions. Great post!
April 8, 2017 at 4:13 PMMontreal is truly a foodie’s heaven! I loooove the smoked meat sandwich from Schwartz’s. I would go back again and again despite the long line. I’ll need to check out Chinatown next time when I visit!

April 9, 2017 at 8:05 AMI love food guides!! I think I love seeing what everyone else orders and imagining that I was there with them and enjoying the meal haha! Great recommendations!
April 9, 2017 at 2:23 PMOh lord the mouth is watering like a river. You know how to eat well! I think my main would have to be for the dimsum down in Chinatown. God why is it so good?! Also as a sidenote I shouldn’t post so publicly…I’ve never tried poutine. Hmm, don’t judge but how do I change this while living in Australia?
