Cruising along the beautiful city of Montreal with the baby in tow! Keep reading to find out our recommended spots in Montreal, Quebec
For July 4th weekend, we celebrated the United State’s independence day in Canada! Very patriotic of us right? The ticket prices were good for that weekend, its a place that was a quick flight (which was very important for our 1st flight with the baby), its been on our radar for quite while! It was my birthday weekend so gotta celebrate it big and having a baby doesn’t mean you have to stop going places!
It was my first time to Montreal and I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect from the largest French speaking province in Canada. It was super charming and there was no language barrier issues as most residents were bilingual. Old Montreal was super cute, cobblestone roads, with a little bit of a European feel.
We stayed at a Airbnb, which I highly recommend. It was super cute, stylishly decorated, in a great location with easy access to many places in Montreal. We had a car so we were able to get to all major destinations within 10 minutes. I love Airbnbs because you are able to interact with a local and get their recommendations on restaurants and the hosts are generally super helpful with anything you need.
I’m all for doing things on the go on vacation, but I usually make a comprehensive itinerary on what there is to do in each new city we visit just to have an idea of what we can choose from especially when you don’t have internet access abroad!

March 8, 2017 at 11:35 AMWe went Mexico for election day so we can understand leaving America for the 4th of July. We didn’t even know Trump was elected until the monologue of the nightly stand up act. I bet that was a great time to be in the city too. Just getting warm and active. I haven’t been to Montreal but the Biodome is high on my list. It seems like you can visit every ecosystem in Canada in one stop.
